AI for Education Awards

Helping educators seize the potential of Artificial Intelligence

Educators play a pivotal role in the success of the revolution AI will bring to education. In a time of rapid technological advancements, it is challenging for educators to seize the positive opportunities that artificial intelligence can provide.

The AI for Education Awards is a groundbreaking initiative aiming to close the divide between AI technologies and educators and celebrate the best practices for integrating AI at all levels of primary and secondary education in Europe.

The competition is organized by d-teach, a non-profit organization and Belgium’s first online school, providing distance learning to an international audience, and part Belgium's 40 under 40.

35 submissions from 16 different European countries were received across three categories:

  • The Educator Empowerment Award recognizes programs and projects that empower educators with the necessary strategies, resources and insights for the effective integration of AI into educational practice
  • The Learning Excellence Award rewards best practices in primary and secondary education where AI helps students and educators in the classroom and/or with learning processes
  • The Special Belgian Award honors the best Belgian entry, on the occasion of the 2024 Belgian Economic Mission in Norway
